FACE Conducts Voluntary Testing and Counselling to Promote Youth Health

As part of its commitment to empowering young people through civic education and community well-being, the Foundation for Active Civic Education (FACE) recently conducted a Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) session targeting youth in rural areas.

The initiative aimed to provide a safe, confidential, and youth-friendly space where young people could access HIV testing, receive accurate health information, and be encouraged to make informed life choices.

The activity forms part of FACE’s broader youth development and health promotion strategy, which recognizes that active citizenship includes taking responsibility for one’s health and well-being.

650K people have been helped since 2004
